How to compare business funding offers

A headline advance amount does not show the full obligation. Use the written terms to compare what you receive, what you repay, when payments are collected, and what happens if your business cannot pay as expected. Ventr3 currently accepts MCA inquiries only.

Start with the dollars

  • How much money will the business actually receive after fees or deductions?
  • What is the total amount the business must repay?
  • Which fees, costs, or other obligations are separate from the stated payback?

Understand how and when payment is collected

Confirm whether payments are daily, weekly, or on another schedule, how they are collected, and whether the agreement describes any adjustment or reconciliation process. Compare the schedule with real cash-flow timing, not just projected sales.

Read the risk terms

Ask whether a personal guarantee or collateral is involved, what counts as a default, what happens after a missed payment, and whether early payoff changes the total cost. Do not assume that two offers with similar advance amounts have similar obligations.

Compare alternatives

Compare an MCA with any other financing options available to the business. Product structures and costs differ, so do not compare a factor rate directly with an annual interest rate as if they were the same measure. Seek qualified legal or financial advice if any term is unclear.

Keep the provider decision separate

Ventr3 is an MCA broker, not a lender. A provider decides whether to review an inquiry, whether to make an offer, and the terms of that offer. Nothing on this site guarantees eligibility or funding.
