Merchant cash advance information by state

Several states now require written cost disclosures for commercial financing, including many merchant cash advances. Pick your state to see what to look for and to send an inquiry. Ventr3 is a broker, not a lender.

Why your state matters

As of October 2026, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, New York, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have commercial financing disclosure laws that can cover merchant cash advances. Where they apply, providers must give written cost disclosures before you sign.

In other states, the contract may be the main place the cost appears. Wherever you are, compare the amount funded, total payback, fees, and payment schedule before accepting.
