Utah merchant cash advance inquiries

Information for Utah business owners considering a merchant cash advance, plus an inquiry form for this page. Ventr3 is a broker, not a lender; funding providers decide eligibility, offers, and terms. Your location does not establish eligibility.

Utah Commercial Financing Registration and Disclosure Act

Utah’s Commercial Financing Registration and Disclosure Act (Utah Code Title 7, Chapter 27) took effect January 1, 2023. Covered providers register with the Utah Department of Financial Institutions and give written disclosures before a transaction is completed.

Utah’s disclosure does not require an APR. Commentary on the act describes transactions above $1 million as exempt; check the statute for the current exemptions.

This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. Coverage depends on the transaction and the provider; confirm details with the provider or a qualified advisor.

  • Review the dollar disclosures: amount funded, total payback, and payment terms.
  • Without an APR on the form, use total cost and payment timing to compare offers.

Before you send an inquiry

  • The exact amount you need and what it will pay for.
  • Your three most recent complete monthly bank statements as PDFs.
  • Any current advances or loans and their payment amounts.
  • How a daily or weekly payment would fit around rent, payroll, and supplier dates.

Common questions

Questions owners ask

Can a Utah business get a merchant cash advance through Ventr3?

Ventr3 accepts MCA inquiries from Utah businesses and may route them to third-party funding providers. Providers decide eligibility and terms, and some may not work with businesses in every state. An inquiry is not a promise of an offer.

Does Utah cap merchant cash advance costs?

Ventr3 does not give legal advice. Read the cost figures in the provider’s written disclosure and contract, and speak with a qualified advisor if you have questions about the law that applies to your transaction.

Will my bank statements be shared with funding providers?

No. Only approved Ventr3 reviewers can access your statements, and they are deleted after 180 days. Sharing your inquiry form and contact details with a provider requires your separate, optional consent.
